RUFA Design hall – Intorno Design

For the Design Hall at the RUFA (Rome University of Fine Arts) we conceived an environment for students which could be a stimulating and, at the same time, an actual work tool. The hall was divided in four different areas representing the four different stages of project development: the Inspiration area features a project chart gallery: the famous sequence taken from Munari’s method is placed inside the central opening frame door, and acts as an important reminder for a designer’s task: the ergonomics area features a human proportions chart, based on Le Corbusier’s Modulor: along with the materioteca, the wall is one of the instruments students can use during advanced phases of project development.
